Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer with a background in retail design and mall projects to join our team at Iraq Mall. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architectural planning, construction materials, and site coordination, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and an understanding of retail design standards
Key of responsibility:
- Develop architectural designs and technical drawings for retail units, kiosks, and mall interior spaces.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- previous experience as a Site Engineer, with hands-on involvement insupervising construction activities, ensuring design implementation, and coordinating with on-site teams.
- Select appropriate materials based on budget, quality, and aesthetic requirements.
- Modify designs based on feedback and practical constraints.
- Coordinate with MEP and civil teams during all project phases.
- Ensure all work complies with local regulations and mall guidelines.
- Prepare and review BOQs, shop drawings, and construction details.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail/mall or commercial architectural projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and finishes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or 3D modeling is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate between design and construction teams.
