Mall Supervisor

Job Summary:

To oversee the daily operations of the mall, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants by coordinating maintenance, security, emergency response, cleanliness, and tenant relations according to approved standards.


Key of responsibility:

  • Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, and interior decoration to ensure reliable and safe facility operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all interior and exterior areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate with security teams to ensure the safety of visitors and tenants, and monitor surveillance systems.
  • Implement and regularly test emergency and evacuation plans, ensuring all exit paths and emergency routes are functional and clearly marked.
  • Handle tenant concerns related to utilities, hygiene, interior fittings, and ensure compliance with mall regulations.
  • Supervise cleaning and security contractors and ensure performance meets contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate tenant fit-out projects and follow up on ongoing interior or branding works.
  • Provide technical and operational support during tenant construction or remodeling phases.
  • Attend tenant meetings to address feedback and propose practical operational solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational and maintenance performance, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the purchasing process and inventory of all operational assets.
  • Assist in budget planning and ensure expenses remain within approved limits.
  • Participate in marketing or promotional events when operational support is needed.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in mall or commercial facility supervision.
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (maintenance, security, cleaning, customer service).
  • High proficiency in English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skill.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with tenants, customers.
